Bradshaw under the knife

Went to get his knee cleaned out, apparently some loose cartilage floating around. Will be back running in 2-3 weeks and apparently should be ok for round 1. Unwanted setback though after what has been a pretty much perfect preseason for our boys.

Interesting this didn't get picked up at an earlier medical.

It does not appear to be the sort of injury that comes on suddenly and it's not ideal putting blokes under the knife at this stage of the pre season. Fortunately Bradshaw has done many a pre season so I don't think we need to worry about body weight or too much anaerobic power work like with the younger ones but still it's a kick to the fitness to be taken off the track at this time of year.

Well we still have one key forward which is more than Carlton has.

Isn't it funny that for Round 1 of the NAB Cup we will be missing 2 key defenders (Bolton and LRT) and 2 key forwards (White and Bradshaw).
