Probably the dumbest post I've ever read on bigfooty (and I've read quite a few of realistic tigers posts so that is saying sump ting).

But not his best game tonight, although Morris was also well beaten. Carlton's small forwards are pretty sharp though, so a couple of 2nd year players having an off night in the 1st game of their second year is no biggy.

Not so dumb now is he! The man is a good judge, what more can you say.

I think a few posters should go back and revisit their posts in this thread, B.Ellis was playing the way he is now 3 years ago?

Wasn't dropped then and won't be dropped now?

He's always played this way. It was noted but ignored as "he's young give him time". Well he's been given time and nothing's changed. You would think that a kid with his build and the life he had growing up would have hardened him up. But like everything with Richmond. No. It hasn't turned out the way we'd like.

Unfortunately for us and him just to small in structure. Watching the game the other night i worked out why a player like Miles was let go from GWS...man do we recruit tiny players or what? Anyway back to Bellis..but he has become a spud of mega proportions..whether its because he is playing a role or not, he is a liability to add onto the other truckloads of liabilities..

A shadow of himself. Does nothung offensively or defensively, needs to be dropped.

Needs to improve his contested aerial work, his contested disposals and his tackling.

His tackling is putrid. So many times he'll chase someone down hard or he'll front up to someone, only to lay a limp arm across their body and get brushed aside like he's non-existant

He's become a player that opposition let have the ball as the turn over is always just around the corner once he touches it.

I still think he has value. Has been coached and developed poorly. Not the only one at Richmond in that boat.
