Traded Brandon Starcevich - traded to West Coast as part of a 3-way trade with Brisbane and Fremantle

At about 20.

So instead of taking Eagles 22.. Brisbane have taken everyone on a hell of a ride for 2 days and involved a 3rd club for a 2 pick upgrade?
Maybe West Coast really wanted to get up the board and had more picks than Brisbane could use.

I'm not sure why it couldn't get done for 22 on Day 1.

Eagles seem to invite this sort of thing on themselves and trades became far too complex when they should be really straight forward.

"Win-Win" for all but a feeling of loss again for mine. Eagles need to grow a spine soon or the rebuild will flop.
Ultimately it depends on how well your team identifies talent and how well-coached they are, not who 'wins' trade week, otherwise Essendon would've 'won' the last 20 flags.

Shueygod went off way too early when it was immediately evident to anyone thinking rationally that Twomey had posted a trade with an obvious missing piece.

Brisbane fans seem to have a weird fetish about their list manager. Careful you don't go full Dodoro.

Dom raised to deity level in 2022 when he wheeled and dealed picks not only to get Dunkley trade done but also get both Will Ashcroft and Jaspa Fletcher. He's been consistently excellent since then.

We're allowed to praise our management without you descending to teenage boy levels of maturity over it.

Back 2 back list compiled by the GOAT of list managers. Dodoro not fit to tie his shoelaces.

Hardly, I said at the time it didn’t make sense.

Was responding to the posters comment on the reported trade as he’s a known numpty.

If you look at my suggestions prior to the initial announcement you would see this isn’t far off what I expected.

I assume West Coast really like the look of someone in this draft (maybe Farrow?) because it seems a bit of a convoluted otherwise.

Pick 12, 33 and 52, essentially for 16, 23. Net points spend for West Coast was 699 which is pretty much Pick 22. Is whoever they want at 12, that much better than 16 to slide back that far?

Jack Martin and Tim Membrey can both attest to the PSD option as being not a myth.

So, tell me more about how Starcevich is going through the PSD....

Pick 16 will be worth a whole lot more points when the Dom trades it on draft night, he is one of the best in the business.

DVI-wise we gave up pick 21.5 or 699 points for Starcevich, but optics wise i don’t love the look of 16, 22, 23 for 12, 33, 52, Starcevich
