Speed, he is tall but fast. Handy player, can chop out in the ruck. He has kicked between 20-27 goals each year he has played for us.
Somewhat of an X-factor at times + underdog. Will always be an average player, anyone expecting more is bound to be disappointed.

300k a year vs 500k Chris Mayne. I'd rather White anyday.

My mistake, I thought the ability to mark the ball and kick goals was important for a key forward.

So have I, not all that often though unfortunately. He will get another chance soon though so hopefully he can surprise us.

Shows passion, pride and care. I wish a few more of his beige teammates would do likewise actually. It annoyed me to see a youngster like Maynard being the only one flying the flag then.

He makes mistakes but because he gives his all he'll sometimes do things that others wont be able to through sheer effort. Brayden's the type of kid we should be getting the games into for mine. I'd rather see a hard nut who takes it on but makes the odd blue in the side ahead of a timid snowflake who takes the soft option every time.

Given the quality of both teams I'd say Jessie would be less than average at Adelaide...no argument on his probable usefulness to us tho.

I think that is a fair enough comment.

The one thing I'll say about Jessie is that he was always brought in to be a 3rd forward and part time ruck. He's never really had that luxury.

But I thought he was a tad unlucky to be dropped when he did. He was kicking a goal a game and also doing ok in the ruck.

Clearly long term we need to look past Jessie White, but short term I think he definitely adds more than Cox or Mayne would.

Agree he's not the long term future

But I don't agree he should come in this week. Give that role to darcy and swing a defender forward

Is a shit-ton heavier or lighter than a normal ton?
 
If we could get a trade for Maynard I'd do it. Don't think he's going to become that good so happy to see him stuffing up kicks at another club.
