That’s f*n ridiculous. He should be under the same rules now that the season is finished ffs.
Pretty simple really, he is a professional athlete who needs to maintain his fitness to ply his trade. Just as I can go and visit a construction site he can train.Mate, I had no issue with them training during the season. However, his season has finished. He has no RIGHT / REASON to train.
I don’t get how this is accepted.
What a world we live in now where you get questioned for keeping fit.
Not questioning him for keeping fit. How come he gets to go to a gym and have a personal trainer when I’m not allowed to lift weights in a PUBLIC PARK by myself?
2 sets of rules.

Retired players are exactly that. Maynard is in training to move to a new position which requires more work, consequently he needs to work harder at his chosen profession. The season is over. He doesn’t get any special treatment anymore.
Do retiring players get the same exemption?
He’s not even at the club. He’s also with a personal trainer. Yet, I can’t go to my CA classes, I have do them online. He should train at home. Are professional athletes more important?
It's not about you, I'm sure he's doing what he is allowed to do.The season is over. He doesn’t get any special treatment anymore.

It's his job, that's where he earns a living, a good chuck of his time is right there in the gym.Im not blaming him. I just think it’s BS that the system allows him to have privileges. Privilege, not a right.
You're kidding aren't you? It's his job, it doesn't just stop in the off season.

I'm still going to work everyday, should I stop.
I woke up this morning and thought to myself what is that, so I Googled it.What a world we live in now where you get questioned for keeping fit.
I understand when the season is ON. However, his season has finished.
How many people who work in gyms (for example) have lost their jobs and unable to work at the moment? However, he gets to go train with the assistance of a PT.
Why is the PT there and not a club PROFESSIONAL?
It’s just not fair on other people who have been severely impacted but the elite (football players in this instance) get a leg up.
Example:
Imagine if you were a chef, lost your job. Then seeing Ramsey/ Oliver run around in their kitchen with a restaurant full of people in the same state as you?
Are you attending the protest this weekend by any chance

His right/reason is that it’s his professional vocation.Mate, I had no issue with them training during the season. However, his season has finished. He has no RIGHT / REASON to train.

His right/reason is that it’s his professional vocation.
He is required to train as a component of his continuing employment
He is contracted 52 weeks of the year his job requires him to stay fitMate, I had no issue with them training during the season. However, his season has finished. He has no RIGHT / REASON to train.
