They all look the same to me. Makes sense, Rankine definitely fake tough guy material.

Rankine is just full of custard. He was lucky Bruzzy didn’t squeeze him. He may have lost some of it from an embarrassing area. It showed when the game needed to be won. Rankine was nowhere to be seen. Some players go where others fear to tread. And then there are the ones full of custard.

I would have liked to have seen the footage of that. Commentators brushed it off but we have had free kicks paid for that in the past. (The daics bit, not the Maynard)

Why did I just do that to myself? Why did I watch the 2018 Grand Final??!
That was ours. Maynard was totally blocked from the contest. I remember seeing it play out from the Southern Stand but watching it again now, I’m back to full PTSD mode!
That should have been Maynards free. We still may have lost but it was more likely we’d have won. I really regret reliving that.
I’m more hungry for this year now though!

The umpire was never going to pay that as a block that’s late in the game unless it was clearly obvious and unfortunately for Maynard he did his best effort making it look like a legitimate contest. In hindsight he should have just informed Eioli and gone for the ball that way Rioli’s block would have been obvious.
