Player Watch Brayden Maynard

I'd be okay with Maynard leaving if we got compensated for him. If we got a first rounder this year for example, I'd have let him go. I think he's a solid player in an area where we have high supply, and we wouldn't miss him all that much.

Having said that, a first rounder next year seems unders given it looks to be a weak draft.

Be a High Draft Pick

Be shocked if he leaves.
No doubt $$$$ will play apart.

Nothing personal, Jelly, but I need something stronger than a thumbs down for this.

With respect, why post it then?
Just another nuffy looking for eyeballs, (him btw 😉).
No way he leaves btw.
Yep. He really should wear a mask in his videos. Not sure how you can show your face at Pies games after posting that drivel.

interesting comparing the angst on display here with what happens in other sporting codes overseas where player movements of this magnitude are common place ..... best get used to it as players/clubs will increasingly use market dynamics now afforded the game to explore opportunities for growth and renewal ....... might be challenging for some especially where attachment to the fortunes of a particular player informs their interest in sport ......... personally i dont see this emerging reality as a bad thing

in maynards case, him leaving presents an opportunity for list/tactical renewal ..... ill always remember him for his role in the go-ahead goal by jamie elliot against carlton back in the final round of 2022 - him moving to north cant take that memory from me

Bruz isn't leaving. This thread has become like the ludicrous IQ leaving saga.

Maynard's name has only been brought up because a couple of blokes in the media are mentioning the names of players who are OOC/UFA at the end of the year.

I do think his manager will be pushing for more money considering the Perryman contract. But that's all it will be.

His manager wouldn't be doing his job if he wasn't trying to get more money for his client.

That's being very polite - a harsher description comes to my mind
I give him more credit than you. I think he's after a job in the AFL and is demonstrating his ability to fill air time with moronic made up talking points. Surprised no one has signed him up yet.

Deep down, he's just a big softie 🥰

He definitely is; however, he did accidentally kill two puppies in tackles and another couple whilst attempting to smother.
