breadley vs tredrea

If he does play on him Tredrea will kick at least 10, Bradley is just no where near strong enough to play on Treadra, he will just throw him aside......................And was it just me or does anyone else think Sheedy has lost it if he plays McPhee at Full Back which is where he is named?

Never know.....it may be 6.4 , 5.5 or 4.6

I'm hoping for 10.0 of course

Port need to win in midfield for that to happen.

A very pertinent comment and if he doesn't mark it he doesn't generally get it not to mention that he's no sure thing to get through the game without being injured.

Bradley v Tredrea

Im shocked he has been picked. treadrea is too strong, too quick, too good for kepler who needs to play reserves footy as he isnt up to it.

Sam hunt who is a fast and powerful young backman has been snubbed and would have to think his time at essendon is up if sheeds prefers henneman and Bradley to him.

If Bradley does play on tredrea we will need to have somebody close by to help him at all times so if he does win possesion he can handball off. We dont want him kicking the footy becuase his skills are atrocious.

The obvious choice is to put Lucas on Tredders but is there a chance Mcphee may play at chb? He seems pretty strong and has a go!

mcphee is a gun but doesnt have the body type to play on tredrea, would be pushed round far to easily. If solly plays, which is unlikley i would like to think that he could be given a crack, as he can match body on body with him.

To beat Tredrea you need two guys. One who can keep up pace on a lead and cannon into his back at the contest, and one big bloke that can stand in front to block his lead and cause a sandwich at the contest. Its not hard.

for that to happen, he will need around 17 shots at goal...

FWIW, i would prob say that McPhee is your best bet...not a bad player imo

One of two things.

Either he finds Mark Bolton and asks him to give him a copy of those photo's bolts seems to have of sheeds that keeps him in the side.

or

Stop sleeping with sheedy's daughter

I don't think Bolton is actually that bad. In my opinion he should be in the team. But, Hunt should be in instead of bradley. Also just heard Primus failed his fitness test so thats one less player we have to worry about.

Can anyone EVER remember a time when the Essendon team lined up as named in the paper?
Bradley has about as much chance of starting on Tredrea as one of us has.
STG will have to play someone on Tredrea who is physically developed to start.
That's not to say the Bradley won't spend some time on him, he will, especially if the result is determined by 10 mins into the 4th quarter.

I'd be looking for someone like Solomon, McPhee or Lucas to man him up.

Id say we will end up with Lucas on Treda's
Bradley will probebly line up on Lade at full back
Mcphee will kick in
Bolton will follow Cornes like a guide dog

So it will be something like this :

Backs: G. Wanganeen/J. Winderlich M. Bishop/M. Lloyd T. Thurstans/M. Allan

Winderlich will have to be careful not to over commit because Wanga will kill us on the rebound. He also needs to keep at Lloyds feet so wanganeen cant block Lloyds leads. Lloyd should beat bishop both for speed and in the 1 on 1's so we should be fine thier. At a quandry over who would go on Allen i think it will be Thurstans could be wrong, all Allen needs to do is make a contest and bring the ball to ground.

Half Backs: B. Montgomery/J. Murphy C. Cornes/D. Hille S. Cochrane/T. Richards

IF Hille can play at CHF his sheer size (10 cm's taller and 10 kilo's heavier) is enough to give him a fair chance on COrnes though again he will hurt us on the rebound. Murphey and Richards will need to kick goals for us to win this both are tallented enough to be thier individual opponents. I wouldnt be surprised to see Richards spend sometime at CHF 2, esspecially During centre bounces.

Centre: K. Cornes/J. Hird J. Carr/ J. Misiti J. Schofield/M. Bullen

Cornes is probebly thier best run with player so he will likley match up on Hird. Carr and Misiti will probebly go head to head although Pevrill may Tag Carr. Bullen should be able to burn schofield on the run and should provide a lot of drive out of the centre.

Half Forwards: B. Pickett/A. Ramanauskas W. Tredrea/S. Lucas S. Dew/A. Welsh

Byron is a real danger and may well get Mcphee rather than Ramma either way tough to match up on. Lucas is the only body with experiance at centre half back we have to match up on Tredreawouldnt be surprised to see a lot of double teaming against the high ball with Welsh. Dew is slow and Welsh is fast enough and strong enough overhead to beat him, may if things go very well of very bad spend sometime in the midfield later on.

Forwards:S. Burgoyne/A. McPhee B. Lade/K. Bradley D. Brogan/M. Bolton

The Burgoyne twins will probebly rotate through this spot and may cause difficulties Mcphee will probebly get them. Bradley will play on Lade because sheedy seems obsessed with blooding him as a key defender. probebly Ports best match up though bradley's centre of balnce (falls over a lot) will hurt us less on lade who cant bend bellow his knee's.

Followers: P. Burgoyne/D. Peverill, A. Kingsley/J. Johnson, J. Surjan/D. Rioli

Personally I see Burgoyne as thier most dangerous creative midfielder and id like to see Pevrill wear him like a glove. J.J against Kingsley should be a good match up for us J.J will get right in and under and kingsley is to much of a soft ball player to follow him under. I think we will see rIoli on the Surjan because he will have never have gone against someone like him. Rioli is creative enough to hurt them and Surjan despite being a real quality player from the WAFL will have a hard time keeping up and hurting us.

Of course if Hennemen play it'll be a little different, but meh i hope im right...

Its my opinion the Bolton should be turned into a tagger for the Adam Goodes the Dean Brogans and the Mathew Pavlichs of the competition. He is fast enough to go with the big men has the stamina and the height to always make a contest, what he needs to do is add a few Kg's of Muscle.

Good Luck to us.

Believe me, I don't want to hang out here and gloat - you are in enough pain - but I could not let this comment slide.

Airport type - we didn't have Francou all last year and finish THREE games clear on top of the ladder. We don't have ******** nancy wide-boy receiver Stevens, you are right, but did it look like we missed him today? No, someone with balls can take his place, Josh Carr, Kane Cornes, whoever.

So a big NUP to that one.
