Judging by the form he was in late in the season, which could very well have been 1 of the main reasons why Port's form turned around, I don't reckon he would be going anywhere unfortunately. Could very well be wrong though.

Carlton offered him a huge contract the year we got Cloke and he knocked it back, he is now 2 years older and is at the wrong end of his career...if we want him we would be better of going for White, much cheaper, would probably play for almost minimum wage and is ex all australian, and showed he can still play judging by his last game, he only stopped getting a game cause Bailey went with the youth policy.

Port are stuck for ruckmen - talk down Alberton way is Deluca will be cut or traded out so there's not too much hope of getting Lade to cross the border - and he is contracted. Hell, they may even consider taking Ackland.
