Congrats to him on playing his last game in AFL footy. Has been a loyal servant to the club and its too bad that his last game happened to be the Sydney one.
very serviceable player. great mark in that last quarter, however the thing that sticks out most to me from his game on friday night unfortunately is the part where he couldn't get any body on f*****g nick davis at the end. perhaps that proved to us all he made the right decision and that his legs have aged too much to go around again.
Thank you Sando. The Geelong Football Club loves you and will look forward to your coaching skills in the upcoming years after you have enjoyed the first few years of retirement.
Just a great part of the team. He is retiring at the right time, he has slowed down this year, but well done on a great career. I will always think of him taking the strong mark over his head to chop off the opposition's leading forwards. He was courageous and skillful, and a great leader in the best backline we have ever had (2004).
Sando and Steve Hocking - great back pockets stuck on 199 Geelong games. Is it a curse?
You are a credit to yourself! You worked so hard to get a spot on our list after being disappointed at Collingwood and Adelaide.
Your courage and hardness at the ball is unquestionnable and the Geelong fans will always think of you as a tough, reliable and brave defender. The ultimate clubman and role model!
Thanks Brenton for your years of courage & service to the Geelong Football Club. (and for not making the grade at Adelaide/Collingwood!!)
Good luck with the Pilot's license!
