So much hate at the moment.
Not the first time 7 have cut a sporting final to go to the news. They left the end of the Australian Open when it was a 1 hole playoff on the 18th hole. It was ridiculous.
And last night on ABC they gave away the result on the news. What's the point of going back to it if they've given away the result?

Considering how hot it gets in Brisbane this time of year, from a player's perspective I think it's a very sensible time. Wouldn't want to be playing any earlier unless u have to. As there are no other matches taking place ...

I watched the rest on stream, was ready for 7 to cut for the news.
Pretty hilarious finish, Roddick had a *5-2 lead, lost it, got to the TB and had a 6-1 lead and it went back to 6-6 before saving a SP and then winning it 9-7 with Radek serving a DF. Radek was actually playing quite poor today

Chokes galore, Stepanek certainly made things interesting and good thing for Roddick he served a double on match point because he was looking worse as the tiebreak went on.

I don't care too much about the tennis but today shows again what contempt tennis fans have to put up with. OK, the Brisbane final was not put on at the best time but they left it with a few minutes before six 6pm - enough time to throw in a couple of ads, when they could have shown one extra game. The fact they don't use thier digital channel to show the end to it is shameful.
It will be the same shabby treatment with late replays, stopping for the news, showing replays of Australians when live matches with other players are more of interest..............

When the commentators start hinting at 5.55 that Roddick has the match in the bag and wont lose, I knew at that point they would cut to the news at 6, no matter what the score was. Then they cut from the tennis at 5.58 to show 2 minutes of ads....WTF is that channel 7 you w***ers.
ch 7 have been morons all week. They kept cutting to deal or no deal, when they could've gone another half an hour to the news at least. One occasion henin was up 3-2 in the third set. WE DONT WANT TO WATCH DEAL OR FADDD NO DEAL! YOU BUY THE RIGHTS FOR THE TOURNAMENTS, SHOW THEM PROPERLY
