BRISBANE!!! Teams and stuff

What would your changes be for the big game vs. Brisbane. I am pretty confident but I always am and I think we have a reasonable chance of beating them if we have solid contribution from most of our players.

My changes would be
IN: C.Cloke
OUT: Davidson (INJ)

If Nixon is dropped it should be for McGough or even a suprise in Brayden Shaw.

O'Bree - if he has another average game he should come out for McGough.

Keep Richards and Nixon in as this will be good experience for them especially Richards since he will not be dominated by Keating who will miss this round.

Apart from McDonald and Keating who are missing for the Lions?

btw: Tex injured his foot for Willy

C.Cloke would have to be a certainty this week - MM debuting 4 guys in 2 weeks

We need a big body in the ruck with Keating out, and Pebbles would be too sore to play this role so Cam gets the nod.

Unfortunate for Bo, but he'll be back very soon so no need to worry about his future.

BTW, agree VERY much on Brayden - guess it depends on how risky Malthouse is feeling on Wednesday.

Considering how Willy got smashed on the weekend I'd stick with Bo Nixon. Its hard to get a kick whilst on the bench.

Not sure if Cloke is ready - we might be forced to play Kinnear if we decide we need a taller player, if not perhaps Swan will get a run as he was one of the better players in the VFL.

I know it wouldn't be a popular move amongst supporters but I would include BK as a replacement for Davidson. I would keep Nixon in the side but with Davis out would look at McGough as the only other replacement.

In: Kinnear, Swan
Outavidson(Inj),Davis(Inj)

The Reason i'am including Kinnear is because we already have two ruckmen in Fraser and Richards, Why add anotehr one, if we need another one Im Sure Rocca Could Pinch Hit. It seems Kinnear is one of The Only Talls Left.

And i would inclde Swan because he has Been Awesome for the last two-three games for Willi.

Bad Luck for Leon, Just our luck he starts playing weel then he gets out... Typical.

FFS Kinnear will do nothing especially against Brisbane!
If we put him as a 3rd tall he will take Bradshaw or White and get thrashed. They will both beat him in the air and White will beat him on the ground, he might get two useless possesions against Bradshaw at ground level.

Kinnear is pretty much useless, I'd like him to prove me wrong but he most likely won't. We want to stretch the Brisbane defence, not put a decoy down there.

MM played Davo after an average practice match (kicked 3 goals but wouldn't really make their best players), so I think he could bring in big Cam. He will do better than Gentle Ben. And even if he doesn't it will be a game under his belt.

So my adjusted changes are:
IN: Cameron Cloke, Mark McGough
OUT: Thomas Davidson, Leon Davis

Outside chances: Brayden Shaw, Dane Swan (replace Leon as small forward and can also go down back).

I doubt Swan would be selected, not agianst Brisbane, neither would Kinnear. Nixon will be dropped, that's one obvious change, along with the 2 injuries.

I'm still not sure who else to put in the side, I'm sure it won't be Shaw or Kinnear.

I'm not sure about that FF line though.

Yeah but at least on the bench he got to play with Balmy's new Sony game board, and have a crack at 'crash team racing'.

Shaw would be a mistake.
Injured twice in the pre season.
Crap game against Richmond.
Didn't play for Willi on the weekend.

Physically not ready to run up against the grunt of Brisvain.
If underdone physically then must be aware of his limitations, would put enormous mental pressure upon him.

Smashed again when not 100% would be a big mental and emotional blow..........

Well MM said at the press conference that Shaw will play, so I guess he is pretty much a dead cert to play.
