Both are young developing rucks, Browne shouldn't be anywhere near the AFL yet, it's not his fault Hardwick has shown really poor judgement on this issue.

Graham has been really competitive or shaded his opponent in most of the games he played this year, I don't know what more could be expected of him. He's showed at least 20% improvement on 2010 and we weren't getting massacred by 100 points and beat up by the likes of Port when he was in the side, he was holding his own better than a lot of players still getting a run and doing so in way more difficult circumstances.

Can't fault their effort but they just aren't up to it. Yes, Browne is raw but you've still got to show SOMETHING. If he was getting flogged in the hitouts but popping up around the ground and taking a few marks or going forward and snagging the odd goal, at least we'd have something to hang our hat on - come to think of it, he does remind me a bit of the hatstand my nana used to have. We'll have to trade for a ruckman or try to convince an uncontracted one to join us.

Gus has that over Browne, Gus can pop up around the ground and get a few touches (generally pretty good with the ball for a big fella) and pop up with a goal. Gus also has better second efforts. Im a fan of Big Gus, not a number one ruckman by any means but i reckon he is the best we got for now.

I really can't understand why Gus isn't playing. He's played some good games over his career, but needs to work harder.

Browne is one of the worst players i've ever seen, he'd struggle to go well in country footy.

Why haven't we recruited any ruckman to replace Simmo?

There's plenty of backup ruckman at other clubs i'd be happy with, even Mark Blake FFS, atleast he could tap it to our midfielders unlike Browne who just taps it blindly.

Time to start playing Griggs in the position he was recruited for. Other than that I'd be using this combo from the first centre bounce next week.
Starting Vickery
Bench Gus
Forward Post

Browne can head back to Coburg.
