Brownlow odds updated for the week, Voss into $4:eek:

Who are TAB trying to fool here, putting Voss into unbackable odds which $4 is when it comes to brownlow betting. it is only round 5 here folks, how can Voss have a mortgage on the brownlow this early? Yes he has had a good year and may be infront but come on.

If you can find value then post it here, personally all I can find at the moment is Black and Akermanis who are both bound to improve this year and could easily win it from here (both @ 51), although Voss and Lappin are having much better seasons. Cousins at 41 isn't too bad either, he won't go out much from there and can only come in I think.

Interesting fact about the Derby/Showdown/Anzac Day games in 2002 in regard to the Brownlow.
Every player who won the medals for those games got 3 votes in the Brownlow for that game,eg Derby-Haselby,Brownlow 3 votes.

Now this may not seem all that dramatic, but it is a clear indication that umpires take note of voting panels in these games.

We all know there have been plenty of baffling Brownlow vote decisions over the years,I remember Ratten getting 44 touches & not getting a vote.
I guess this is a chance to assume, with statistically the odds in your favour, that certain players will poll in those games.
This may not be a huge advantage,5 or 6 games out of some 170,but it's more than us punters have had in the past.

Assuming of course that it holds up in 2003.
Who knows with the Gardiner/Sampi fiasco.

Seth.

A Brisbane player will win the Brownlow.

The last 4 seasons, I think, the brownlow medal winner has polled 3 votes in round 21 against Geelong :o

Black, Akermanis, Woewoeful and Crawford.
