I don't think I've such a difference in any song ever when you compare the horrible studio version to the remarkable live version.

Lucky the bootleggers are always out in force at Bruce gigs, otherwise we wouldn't have something to remind us that it's actually a good song.

Jump on Facebook, should be able to get rid of it easily. Gumtree or eBay too.

No unfortunately not, got the tickets as a present but all ready had plans for Easter. I also have Sat/Sun cricket finals when the Melbourne shows are on.
That's a real shame mate. Are you a big fan?

Backstreets, The Promise, Thunder Road, cant say i dont like any of his songs. Born in the USA and Dancing in the Dark would be at the end of the list though.
Backstreets, good work! :thumbsu:

It's hard to fault. I'm sure many fans would have the same.

I got three of them:

5: Incident on 57th Street
4: Backstreets
3: Highway Patrolman
2: Racing in the Street
1: Thunder Road

So, if we're counting... that's 3 'street' songs, one 'road' song, and another about someone who drives on streets and roads.

Sooooo cliche. Needs more: Kingdom of Days (:hearts:), Valentine's Day, Gloria's Eyes.

Please forgive, please note time/day/inebriated state. Actually, Highway Patrolman, **** yeah.

OK peeps. Take a look at this photo:

That top shelf there is my collection of bootleg Springsteen CDs.

Who wants 'em?

My wife and I have just sold our house and we'll be putting all of our junk in storage for the next 6-8 months while our new house is being built, so I'm going through and getting rid of the less essential things in life. The music on those discs won't be lost to me as it's all on my HD, but the CDs haven't been played in years.

I can get a full list of them for whoever's interested, but the selection spans from the late 60s and Bruce's days in Steel Mill up to 2003 I think. The main periods represented are the '78 Darkness tour and the 1999/2000 reunion tour. Pretty much every era up to then is covered though.

All I'm asking is for whoever wants them to pay the postage. Wherever you are in Oz... if you want to pay the postage, I'll send them across to you.

If you're interested, try and get back to me ASAP as I don't know how much longer I can leave them on the shelf while everything else is being boxed up.

If no one wants them - they're going in the bin.

PM me, tag me in a post... whatever you want and I'll get back to you.
