I just don't know about this... I saw INXS a few years ago at a similar venue we have up here just south of Brisbane. The show was great but hated sitting through shit support acts while being in the sun. The atmosphere lacked too because of the way people weren't as crammed together as they are in arenas. Seeing Elvis Costello at the same venue in Feb, hopefully it's a better experience.

Although I only got GA standing up the back for that. For Bruce I will defs be going for GA standing in the pit or reserved seating.

Is this Hanging Rock joint actually worth seeing? Or just typical Gudinski hype bullshit?

The order of your setlist is all wrong. If he were to play songs it would probably be something closer to this:

Unrealistic setlist though IMO. Death To My Hometown will definitely be played. No way would Kitty's Back, Rosie AND Jungleland ALL be in the SAME encore. We can dream though. :thumbsu:

From what I hear Hanging Rock is a great venue but a bitch to get to. From photos, has potential to be epic.

If the arena shows were on a weekend I'd be going to one of those instead but alas they aren't so I'm gunning for the Rock.
 
I won't have you hating on Ties, especially when you like Kitty's Back!

What I noticed is he usually only plays one 'epic' in the encores, whether it be Jungleland, Rosie, Racing, Kitty etc, maybe two if LOHAD is in the encore.

Not really, went there when I was about 9 I think, but it was for a picnic lol don't really remember much at all.
 
Okay, bugger this, I'm going to Brisbane as well. Holiday can wait. Mates going to be pissed.

Six days in between Rod Laver and Hanging Rock. Leaves room for a second and third Rod Laver show. Chances of this? 24th, 26th, 28th? Or 24th, 27th? Will there be demand in Melbourne for 2-3 shows? There's 4 million of you guys ffs.

I don't know if I can afford to go to Brisbane...but I kind of think the first show of the Australian tour will be epic. What do you reckon?
 
Just realised I am going to see a Swans premiership and Bruce Springsteen perform live, all in the space of six months. Bloody hell. Unbelievable.

Anyone found a map for Rod Laver...where are the Platinum seats compared to the Gold seats?

I cant believe this is two days away from sale and I cant find a fricking thing on the websites as to what means where...or am I blind?
