There are buses that go from various locations around the region - including city - direct to the venue by about 3pm, and then drop you back at your original point after the show. Sounds pretty solid.

There are also trains that run to Woodend during the day every hour, then there are free shuttles from Woodend to the venue.

Good point. Whatever I'd save getting a train, I'd spend a few times over on a motel for the night.

I will sell them for face value to real Bruce fans closer to the show. If he does only 2 shows in Sydney they will go for cost - if 3 shows then who knows.

I remember when I was in Canada for a year and didn't get to watch the Great One Wayne Gretzky play Ice hockey when he traveled to Toronto. My last night in North America I was in LA, drove down to the Forum and was determined to scalp a ticket and watch him play for the LA Kings. Started off asking scalpers and got $80 and $100 but kept walking trying to get something cheaper and better seats. This old guy was saying ticket for sale. I asked how much and he said $10. I said are you for real and are they real. He said yes. They were on the wing row M ie 13 rows back and I sat next to him. He had been a season ticket holder for 22 years since day 1. Great seats, great game and great to watch the Great One. Karma says I still owe someone a similar favour. Wont charge $10 but prepared to sell them for less than cost if it goes to a true fan.

Depends if u wanna drink, not have to deal with traffic, etc. If you're gonna get accommodation, do it asap. I had trouble a week ago.

Pick the show you most want good tix for, make sure you're logged in 15-20 mins in advance, go for the section you want (I don't trust best available) and don't settle for shit, keep trying as much as possible, you will more than likely get what you're after. Remember, the pool is much larger tomorrow than it was Wednesday.

I don't trust it. Others may disagree. Telling the system exactly what u want makes more sense to me. And would u rather be spending time debating in ur head whether its idea of the next best ticket is good enough or refreshing the page trying to catch exactly what you're after?

$212 for a ticket will be my new record. Previously $150 so I've done pretty well. Never seen the trend-setters in the Stones or Eagles yet though.
