Norm Smith Medallist
Who was that poster about 10 years ago that kept on saying Gibbs was going home every year only for it not to eventuate? Done a bit of searching but the search function works like a campaigner.

The thing is Jimmy, no one will really know the definition of 'massive overs' until the end of next season.I don't see Bryce being a key to ending 18 years of comedy that is the AFC but a good get as long as they don't get shagged for massive overs.
Jacobs is Lobbe lite. ROB may be a good player but hasn't proven anything just yet.
Paddy Ryder is a class above both.

CARLTON is refusing to talk with Adelaide leaving contracted Blues midfielder Bryce Gibbs stuck in the AFL trade market’s “no man land”.
The Blues and Crows have not spoken since the clubs met at the start of AFL trade talks at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne on Monday morning. All calls and moves by Adelaide list manager Justin Reid to open negotiations with his Carlton counterparts led by Stephen Silvagni have been repeatedly rebuffed by the Blues.

Carlton’s anger with the Crows is summed up by how the Blues describe Adelaide’s pitch at trade talks: “Arrogant, unethical and lacking respect for Carlton to the point of being disgraceful.”
EDIT:
Well...... it IS the Crows.....
Adelaide brokering shady, backhanded, below the belt deals ? #ShockedToBeSittingHere
There's quotation marks in your post. Who is the quote from?
Edit: Oh I just realised who wrote the article. Now it makes sense that there's a quote but no one to attribute the quote to.
Someone familiar with the way the Crows operate I'm sure
This thread really needs more "Awwwww look at the poor baby crying to come home and hide behind mummies apron", just like with every Crows player that's walked out, and every player that comes home to Port.

How will you get carlton to bring down the wall of silence?Ah yes, no wonder you have so many divers in your team![]()

Sensible.. talking blokes into going to Carlton is another issue lelWith a reasonable offer for a player that doesn't want to be there. It's all posturing so Carlton can draw a line in the sand and I get that, but personally I'm happy to see us walk away from this and use Pick 13 on some new blood unless the deal is reasonable.

Carlton are so salty about Eddie and Sauce it's hilarious. They have only themselves to blame. Now they want to make us pay overs to make up for it. Like VB says Gibbs doesn't really play a role that we need (Laird, Smith and to a lesser extent seed) it's not a trade we need to be desperate about.
Laird and Smith aren't even close to being a skidmark of Gibbs
You mean two guys who have been in the AA squad within the last couple of years? Laird in 2015 and 2016, and Smith All Australian in 2014?
I think I know who the skidmark is around here Danny.
They had to keep the ferals happy down in Shitlaide some how
Did they make the best 22 or the 40 man squad, will be in James Hird sort of shock if it was best 22
