AFL Club
Sydney
Around the grounds today on SEN spoke to the Sydney fella. He said there is a huge rumour coming out of Sydney that the Sawns are interested in him also spoke to a former Swan and said that he has heard the same its all rumours I no but THOUGHTS

I don't want him the only way I could see it happening is if Goodes and BOLTS retire and Mummy or White go with a few others

I don't want him either. Also if he was keen to come to Sydney he would go to GWS who can pay him a lot more than we could.
You would think no way in the world we could match them the only way would be to front load it cause with Goodes , LRT , Shaw , ROK ,Bolton , Teddy all will probly retire at the end of 2014

We'll get him man. We're the AFL's love child and COLA and it's unfair and...

Don't want him.

Russell Barwick's rant on Sky News last night can explain this whole thing. Basically stated we have players who will retire in future years opening cap room after 2014 and that Bondi is a better place to live than Blacktown. Didn't explain how we would have the room for him in 2014 or even the need.

Just an uneducated view getting passed on by SEN. Now why isn't that surprising

With a significant number of our guys nearing retirement in the next couple years, it would be interesting to see who from other clubs is available as a free agent at the end of next season.

Ben Reid or James Frawley would fit in alright

GWS players don't live in Blacktown,as far as I know. The majority live in Breakfast Point, which is closer to Bondi than Blacktown & whilst they may train there at the moment, they will be moving their training facilities at the end of 2013, at the former site of the golf driving range at Olympic park

Probably a story planted by his agent.

He'll stay at Hawthorn. If the Giants have any sense, they'll take Boyd at No. 1.

Buddy - not the best fit with Swans culture. Last year the Pies traded his flatmate, and no slouch of a player, to WCE, what does that tell you.

If he did, I would hang shit on Hawthorn for the rest of my life.

It would probably be a similar reaction as to when we got Tippett.

When Buddy is at Hawthorn now "Best player in the AFL" "Better than Gary Ablett Snr ever was" and then to "spud" and "we don't need him anyway, enjoy your overrated hack"

Not to mention there would be mass offended about the COLA, 10x more than there is already.
