Hi all,

As some of you may know, I’ve been a doing a fair bit of blogging on the front page. I’ve been keen to do some interviews with interesting personalities in the footy world. So far I’ve managed to get Emma Quayle and Eugene Arocca and those interviews were well received.

But obviously I don’t know all clubs in detail and that’s why I’m posting here.

Who would you like to see interviewed? Who at your mob do you feel has a story to tell that would interest and inform not just readers from your side, but neutrals too?

Obviously everyone would to hear from big names like Lance Franklin or Kurt Tippet or Joel Selwood but the reality is the clubs usually strictly control their media exposure.

What I’m interested in is that something special other people might not know about – a young bloke you feel is set to have a breakout season, perhaps a recruiter with a knack for getting gems late, or even an administrator you feel deserved recognition.

So let’s have some suggestions but please know that although I’ll try my best, I can’t guarantee I’ll be able to get any or all of these.

Thanks in advance.

Jamie

I really enjoyed the Emma Quayle article :thumbsu:

He's no longer working for the Swans, but I would like to hear from David Misson, now working at St Kilda. How has he managed to work such 'miracles' with Sydney first and now St Kilda in keeping the majority of their senior list fit, which was instrumental to the Swans 05 flag and the Saints GF appearance this year.

I would love to read an interview with Patrick Veszpremi, He was one of the kids interviewed in Emma's book and she touched on how he was a little lazy and took him a while to get serious about his footy, I would love to read an interview about the life style change that happens when your drafted.

He is also one of our few kids that has actually gained a bit of exposure with fans from other clubs may be able to drive up a little interest

2nd the motion.

Been watching Lockett highlights this week...he was an absolute giant of the game.

OT would love to see him involved with nurturing the Swans kids &/or local leagues.

Unfortunately that will never happen as Plugger is a recluse these days.

On another note i like the thought that if you live in Wagga and suddenly your toilet self destructs you can call up Paul Kelly to fix it for you. I would love to have Paul Kelly come to my house and fix my toilet :D

There has to be some sort of incentive that will get him involved again (& it doesn't necessarily have to involve $$) in some shape or form....White & I can dream @ least ;)

plumbers are expensive enough already...let alone paying a premium for a superstar to come visit:p:p

the majority of these suggestions suck tbh :p

the club would probably impose even stricter media controls on the youngsters.... and really what do these kids really have worth saying in their early careers

i second the David Misson suggestion

otherwise one of the many decorated players from the club, ideally John Rantall (no idea how you'll contact him), but his story of leaving North for premiership success then returning to the club seems like it would make an interesting read

agree with this. I read Emma's book and thought it was really interesting

What about the new Irish lad.
Is he even out here yet?
What made him choose us and go against the current stream of Irish lads.
Did he watch Tiger on the telly back home and think, thats my game?
