i'm a bit of a fan of the multiplayer but it is very campy and the B flag in domination is just surrounded by camp spots so you're a sitting duck and if you're on a decent streak you just blow your whole game going for it which is kinda sucky.
lack of launchers is awesome and loving the fact that it's basically all gunplay now with better damage levels for a game like this and more recoil on a gun.
i've been severely lagged in all games (on 4 and especially 3 bar games) besides the 2 which camste hosted where i could take people down almost instantly and easily went 2.5/3.5+
once he was gone i simply could not win any one on ones and my only kills come from the side and i'm lucky to go 1.2ish...pretty hard going when they get a 3-5 bullet advantage and my hit markers are slightly off
also killstreak rewards are far more balanced now which is a MONSTER +

agree that the stats are massively overwhelming and should've been more streamlined.

the cod points seem kind of stupid now that i've witnessed them first hand.
completely unnecessary besides wager matches which really could've just been game modes but they tried something different i guess.

also in theory the pro perks sound alright trying to get you to expand your gaming experiences and make you go for objectives but agree they probably are a bit much and even stupid.
i mean i havn't tried for any pro perks as i've only logged in a bit over an hour (if that) but shooting down 30 enemy aircraft and destroying let alone seeing 5 sentrys is a tad crappy.
they should've just made it regarding skill using that perk but made it take a bit longer like 500 kills or something.

i don't mind the maps but played a couple that were just too big and gotta mention that spawns are attrocious.
been spawn killed more times than i can mention...one match in particular i was roughly 20-4 (died on 6 three times ) on headquarters and then they kept spawning behind me and i literally couldn't move cause i kept spawning near about 4 of them and was 21-11 within 40 seconds i'd dare say.

overall i think the game is pretty good and if i had better net i'd be playing right now but with people using the wireless i don't think i'd ever see a hitmarker

also playing with a group of bigfooty guys is as good as i remembered

Tell me about it, I do not understand how anyone can enjoy playing as that guy does (and a lot of people do). Maybe they've been taking speed their whole life so they use Black Ops as a sort of relaxant, to slow everything down? Perhaps they were born with a disability that does not allow their brain to translate fast movements, so camping is their only avenue of having a good time? Or maybe they fear their e-pride will dwindle if their arbitary statistics in a video game drop below a certain mark? Whatever the case, I hate them all.

The point or the video Kerrbs, is that he was talking about the rumour that Treyarch will soon be fixing the in game sound. At the moment their is soo much ambient noise that it is almost impossible to hear an enemy's footsteps (a big part of the game for anyone with gaming headsets), so they will be either reducing the amount of ambient noise or increasing the volume of footsteps.

This will make ninja a useful perk again. I had it on all classes on MW2 but don't even use it at all on BlkOps.

Yeah, if only I had an XBOX 360 and didn't have Blops it'd totally be worth it.

I guess the whole thing is that if this guy believes that the PX21's are just as good if not better than the Astro's is it worth the extra money. I was under the impression that the Astro's were just exponentially better and therefore the choice if I wanted 'the best'. That's what's really confusing me about it.
