If we promote someone surely this guy has to get a chance his last 2 games have been great

Round 15 - 10 Kicks, 4 Handballs, 7 Marks, 4 I50, 6.0

Round 16 - 16 Kicks, 5 Handballs, 12 Marks, 4 I50, 5.4

his kicking goals and getting heaps of the footy give him ago, if i were Notte i would want to pull my finger out this guy is doing alot more at WAFL level. Not writing Notte off i know he has to get bigger ect but the form of Wilson would be in the back of his mind imo.

Hey guys I'm from Adelaide so don t get to see much of this guy. I have a couple questions.
  1. Is he playing as good as people are saying
  2. Do you think he will get promoted from the rookie list and when
  3. If he doesn't get promoted are we going to lose a good forward ?
Cheers

He has been given more time in the forward line this year and has improved his work rate and is now kicking goals which every body notices.
He has played mainly in defence but occassionally forward over the past couple of years and has been good.
Very good chance to be promoted but WAFL isn't AFL so who knows if he can make it but we are hoping.

From memory didn't Sumich start as a defender in WAFL before Eagles placed him at full-forward.

I wonder if we are seeing a second coming of our greatest full forward ever. (Note tongue is firmly planted in my cheek!)

yea but he isnt playing near as good as Wilson, im just sayin if Wilson comes into the side and starts kicking regular goals, how will Notte fit in????

Well, he doesn't need much room, TBH, just a square foot of turf on the park and he's in. :D:cool:

We might have to let one or two of our rookies go

If after their 2 year rookie contract is up, dont we have to let them go back into the draft, then re-draft them. Im not sure but if thats so we lose these rookies this year if they dont get upgraded

Stevenson, Davis, Wilson, Sullivan, and Arrowsmith.

Arrowsmith has shown the least probably, and if we lose Seaby I am sure we will want to keep Sullivan on the list. The other 3 have shown enough to probably stay on the list.

I am pretty sure we can re list them as a rookie but before the draft up to the age of 23?? like we did with wilkes 4 year rookie.

Your memory is faulty.

Sumich played primarily across half forward for South. He was always likely to become a full forward but while skinnier/younger he was mainly a half forward.
