Possibly but how good might Boris have been as a midfielder. We had the luxury of playing him back his whole career. Not sure we have that same depth now. Guthrie reminds me of Pendlebury/Kelly with a dash of Judd. May not reach those heights but I like what I'm seeing..

I don't think I could love the way he approaches the game anymore than I already do - he's strong, breaks tackles, straightens us up and invariably delivers the ball impeccably. Such a good young player.
Anyone watching tonight would recognise what a solid young player we've got in Woody.

Pardon the intrusion but this kid's a ****in star. And Caddy. A huge impact from youngsters on the second biggest stage bids well for the future (not withstanding 3 flags in 6 years, greedy bastards! ).

The golden era for Geelong is nowhere near over and I get the feeling the 5 year rivalry will carry on for a while yet.

Congrats on the year you've had and thanks on behalf of bigfooty hawk fans for the banter and class shown in the build up and post match threads. Look forward to another favourite part of the season for me - the Geelong boys mad Monday costumes!
