Love Lingy being at the club, but thus far i see **** all improvement in leadership.

Pre game Harley was saying to Duck that the way Geelong play is through the corridor and that you have to defend the corridor and try to push Geelong out to the flanks cause the boundaries are so narrow at KP.

You'd think that Ling could at the very least give us this advice. And if he did give us this advice, you'd think at the very last we could listen to it. Geelong had players lining up in the centre square to get the ball whilst we spent the whole time going around the flanks!

I'm sure we already knew this and I'm sure that the instruction was to do just this. Unfortunately our players decided that they didn't feel like putting in the required effort to implement the instruction.

I guess at the top level of competition, it isn't enough to just 'put in effort' Every team's doing that. To be a great team, you have to be able to operate outside your comfort zone for longer than the opposition. If a team is at 90% but their opposition is at 95% then they'll look bad even though they're putting in 90% of what they're capable of.

That said, when I've watched 'off North' this year, we look like we're at about 60-70%
