Is he a nice guy? When he was in Brisbane, me and my mates (Mount Gravatt AFC players) saw him out all the time and he was a w***er. The usual I play AFL crap to chicks....which he wasn't....he was play QAFL every week....and now we know why.

When he was up here, I encountered him reasonably often. I found him to be a reasonable bloke, but I wasn't happy when we traded for him because he clearly has no desire or dedication to playing AFL at a reasonable level.

Always out on the piss, always being rowdy and trying to be a comedian. Never seemed to train all that hard, and even in the QAFL, never played all that well either.

I was hoping he would turn it around when he came to us, but alas he has not.

Nothing wrong with him being smashed at Stereo, its during the off season. I am sure most of our players get drunk as well. I know it's not good to see a player who plays for our team smashed but it's part of life.

As long as they are professional during preseason and the season, it's fine by me. Sadly, I think Wood lacks professionalism and dedication during the season and that will end his career prematurely.
