this year we can break a 45 year premiership drought. The last time Collingwood was the sole undisputed leader on the all time premiership table was 1980 when we had 13 premierships, Carlton and Essendon 12. Carlton drew level in 1981 and ahead in 1982. We trailed Carlton and/or Essendon ever since …. until we finally drew level in 2023 with 16 flags each.

So when we win the flag this year we will rightfully return to outright undisputed leadership for the first time in 45 years!

A spot we richly deserve and is long overdue.
