...honestly say we may have the nucleus of a good side, players and coaches all crystallising into some sort of force?

I am alone in thinking up to now was just all raw talent and luck? We have the Swans at home next week but from what I saw I think we can beat them.

TL;DR is the window ajar for us to open?

This has been where I've been coming from all year, just thinking each week 'hey we won again'. It's getting to the point where we continue to just 'happen' to win, and at some point that counts. I'm well and truly on board with Operation Win a Premiership by End of 2016.

We will beat Sydney and the Purples. Go close against the Hawks. (20 points)

Finals, anything could happen.

Confident we would beat Adelaide, Collingwood, Richmond, GWS, North Melbourne and the Dogs in Perth.
If we finish top 4 and lose to Freo, Sydney or the Hawks and we get a second chance at home against one of the teams above we should win that.

Then we're only one game from the big one.
So to state the bloody obvious top 4 is the key.

If we beat Sydney then the league should will be on notice

have a very strong feeling we'll beat sydney, long over due. and this is the perfect time to do it. their spine is currently down and out of form and i reckon our forwards and ruck will run riot against them

People are already talking us up as if we are ahead of the Swans & Freo. The expectations have exploded of the previous month or so.

Prior to the defeat of Richmond no one rated us really and they were all keen to point out that we hadn't beaten anyone. But we dominated the Tigers for large portions of the game, played one of the best 30 minutes of football played this year against the Crows, and comfortably rolled the Pies.

It doesn't take much for the tide to turn in the media, Swans roll us and they'll go back to "no mids when it counts", "back line is too underman", "NicNat needs to take more marks" ect.
