Realistically, a 10 day break v a 6 day break is a huge advantage. These guys play to the point of exhaustion these days and their muscles would take many days to get the soreness out of them.
Nobody will manage our players any better than Craig can and will - but it has to be some factor, particularly if it's a tight finish.
BUT we do have the home ground advantage as an offset. Which one is the greater I'm not sure.
I think Adelaide have the better back line - I'm sure of that. I also believe we have the better forward line as well. The real biggy is West Coast's A grade solid gold 2nd to none mid-field, plus Dean Cox. This is where the game will be one or lost IMO.
We can afford a small advantage in the mid-field due to our better strength around the ground. Keep Cox to no more than a reasonable game and we will win.
On the other hand, if the WCE mid-field or Cox dominate, then we'll lose IMO.
I'm sure Craigy can work this out and come up with the right people in the right places.

I've been worried about the same thing really - he looked unstoppable against the Saints. Granted they're not particularly quality opposition in the ruck department, but are Biglands and Clarke really likely to run with Cox all day? One of them will need to step up and play a big game.
