cant believe courtney johns is not playing this weekend jetta is going to a great player but certainly needs a rest what a difference 12 months makes this time last year we were screaming for him surely he is in our top 22? What do you all reckon?

He is in our best 22 i reckon we just need to find a way for the forward line to work with him in it..He isnt named for bendigo so you would think he looks a good thing based on that..Matty wouldnt omit him after 7 goals..

Yes but as far as im concerned if your not named on the starting 18 in vfl your not named..Every Afl listed player gets named if they are not in the senior 22.

I'd say Dempsey is too underdone. As for Bradley, if he is being used solely as a KPP, surely CJ is ahead of him. Can't see us bringing in Bradley. He cant give us anything up forward, Dont need him in defence and he is useless in the midfield.

I still think Braddles could work out as a ruckman in the future..But that has no relevence to this game I really want CJ to play tho..Winders too...Geeze iour list is in awesome shape..Coingrats EFC..

He wil, last minute change even if Winderlich does play (allthough he probably won't). They'd have to bring him in, just to exploit the lack of quality tall defenders down there.

Johns Should play, however if it doesnt work with the 3 talls, we could be in trouble. I think either Bradley or Johns will replace winders. I think Dempsey needs a bit more game time in his legs.

I agree to some degree that he is no good when the ball is on the ground but you can't see him getting outmarked & if the ball hits the deck Davey, Lovett & co. get a look in...

No reason why we couldn't have Lloyd, Lucas and Johns in our forward 50.
The saints have Riewoldt, Kosi and Gehrig all in their forward line when there up and running.
They can play Laycock and Hille thru the ruck and thru the interchange when they swap.

Our forward line has not been a problem all year. Getting the ball down there was a big problem in the 2nd half last week.

I would set the forward line up with Lucus playing about 50-70 meters from Goal and have Johns and Lloyd in the Goalsquare with one leading to about 40 and the other staying within 20 this would give each forward a bit of space.
