I'm not the biggest fan of the guy by any means, but I am a little surprised by the general ill-feeling towards him and him being captain. Although out of form he is a pretty good batsmen, even though he isn't ever going to set the world on fire and should be batting lower.
Why is the vast majority against him being captain? I'm not saying he should or shouldn't be, but interested as to why there are objections before he has even captained a test? He is unproven and we can't make judgements based on performance results yet, so lets wait and see.
