I'll reward some good form. Kade Simpson, you've been a legend this season, have the VC.

Gaz C.

Which would be Guthrie for Murphy, correct? I think thats a good matchup for Geelong.
Libba is a good bet this week, but might be worth the risk taking a freed up Griffen. Given the space Murphy was afforded against the Lions and Griffen will have a big one. But I will prob go with Minson against the Lions, considering they don't really have a ruck anymore. Pendles or Beams to be the fall back. Jr doesn't love the Swans from memory.

Who was Geelongs tagger in Rd3 last year when Murphy scored 114 points? Should at least score his season average. Scored 147 in the previous game against Geelong but that was in 2011. Murphy has a super-premo 113.67 (from 6 games) career average against the Cats, his 2nd highest average against all teams. Most of those games would have been while Geelong actually had a gun tagger. Make of that what you will.

I want to do VC Ablett and Pendlebury C but I can't see a way for my team that it is physically possible.
The only players that definitely won't play on my team are tippett and king, and all the other players on those lines will have already played their games so I can't sub them on and stick the C on them. This has never happened... Am i missing something.

Put your R2 to the bench with the E & move King to R2.

King won't play, so he can get the C if required, and you will pick up the emerg Ruck score for him as well.

Too easy. ;)

Guthrie only started tagging through the midfield this year. Make of that what you will.

Vc rockliff, scored (ES)122 and (G)153 against the doggies last year so gonna take the punt

C Ablett

Libba VC. Scored 112 and 130 against Brisbane last year. Has gotten better since then and last 4 games have been 139, 171, 137, 125. Could easily go 150+. No reason not to. Especially that Brisbane have no ruckman so Minson will be feeding them down his throat.
and Gaz with the C as always

Interesting that people are talking about skipping GAJ completely this week. On the surface I agree but the stats tell another story. If you take out his injury affected score in 2011, he's averaged 163 against them since 2007. I'll be going Libba VC and take it from there.

He's playing against Sydney so don't think he will dominate.

I like Libba as the VC pick as he could go huge against Lions and Pendles should kill it against Melbourne.

Apart from the game where he got injured against them, GAJ has absolutely dominated Sydney his whole career! Last time GC played Sydney at Metricon (2012) GAJ scored a lazy 171 SC from 42 possies and 9 tackles. And that was only a few weeks before the finals where Sydney as you know won the Flag.

GAJ dominates against Sydney no matter how well Sydney are playing. A monty for 150+ this week.

Who would be the best bet for captain if Libba fails though?

Ablett or Pendles? o_O

Have a look at his average against the Hawks for the last three years....
