Now all we need is to play our hand well and the TOP 4 is ours thanks to the Tiggers upset tonight!!

HUGE game tomorrow night, the consequences of a win v loss is unbelievably enormous!

Go Swannies!

I agree 100%. I think we need North Melbourne to beat West Coast and the Brisbane Lions to beat Hawthorn and if we win, we could be in the top 4 after this round.

Thanks Tigers! :thumbsu:

I don't think last night's result is meaningful at all in terms of our finish position. We already had the Pies covered in terms of finishing above if them IF we win the next four games - since one is against them and we have far better percentage.

We've still got to get ahead of at least one of West Coast, Kangas, Hawks and Port - and this is probably more likely than not IF we win the last four games.

Winning the next four games is a very very tough assignment and we have no form line worth referring to to tell us how we're really going. Tonight will be really telling - not just in terms of getting the points or not, but in seeing how sharp, focussed and hungry the team really looks.

According to Fryingpan, we have ****-all chance of even making the top 8. lol

You gota like how things are going so far, seems so familiar..
North have a very good chance of beating the drugies no doubt about it..
Also Brisbane over the hawks, though personaly i tiped the hawks..
No way will Port lose to Carlton..
But like Liz said its the best indication were going to get to see where were really at, i really want to see an obessed, hungry, switched on swans tonight sending a clear message that we are back in town baby..
Swans by 4 goals..

..Watch out West Coke were coming to take back what is ours..

I think we'll beat St.Kilda, Collingwood and Hawthorn. Brisbane is touch and go but we do have a good record at the GABBA so who knows. And if the Lions keep on winning, they're bound to lose one. But anything can happen mate, keep the faith! :thumbsu:

I don't know. But our last 4 ARE tough games, it's important to remember that.

For sure they are, but we win tonight and i think we would have won the toughest of the next 4.. Our recent record against the Saints have been pretty bad, we struggle against their fwd line, so we win this were on a big role, lots of confidence, to go to the GABBA , which we play well at, and against Brisbane even when they were unstoppable..
Then it would only come down to winning 1 against either Pies or Hawks and top 4 is a very real possibility..

Luckily for me, no.

I think we will win 2 of our last 4, which won't be enough. I'm hoping for 5th or 6th so we get a home final.

It's very hard to predict what is going to happen over the coming weeks.

I've locked in a win against Hawthorn, the rest i'm 50/50 on.

St Kilda - We haven't played too well against them in recent years, and Lyon seems to know what it takes to beat us if you look at the game earlier in the year.

Brisbane - Yes, they have been playing well, but the more i think about it, our gameplan seems to suit and match up well against them and we have had a good run against them.

Collingwood - They have the wood over us. I've nearly bookmarked this in as a loss.

But in saying all this, we have the potential to be 4th after this Rd, if it happens, surely we'd have to finish the season in the top 4.

I'm with you snappy, tonights the big one. Lions won't be easy as they are playing well, but we do seem to match up well on them and they were going ok when we played them in round three and that ended pretty good. Who knows what can happen with the Pies, but I always think we're a chance at the MCG. My only worry there is they will probably bring Buckley back for that one.

We do have a good run against Brisbane. They were hot in form back in the early rounds of this season, and mostly everyone was revving up and saying that the Lions will win against us back in round 3.

And as for Collingwood, they're like another bogey side. The last time we beat them was back in 2005, the split round. 1 point was the difference!!! Its a 50/50 for that one, but you've got to remember, the Pies usually crack towards the end of the season. EG. Richmond last night.

Dammit Blues fell short against Magpies last week now Port this week, we could have been in top four by now.

Now we wouldn't be in this position if it wasn't for some lapses in concentration in a few of the rounds which could've gone our way. We have to sit here and wait for the results to fall our way.
