3 FEV ( DEFENCIVE GAME BEST EVER)
2 SKINNY( thank god he stayed is a carlton hall of famer 1 day)
1 MURPHY ( first game under the pressure of being the no 1 pick was fantastic)

Only 3 players? Better be consistent with my other threads then.

3. Fevola
2. Simpson
1. Waite

I liked the games from Lappin and Scotland but Lappin was the loose man and Scotland rolled the dice and allowed his opponent to play wide of him. The others all had the accountability parts to match the stats.

3. Simpson
2. Fevola
1. Waite

Simpson had an awesome first quarter when the heat was really on and made some great decisions under pressure. Whole team played well racking up countless possies through todays gameplan. Thought Fev offered great options up foward most of the game and his second half defensively was exactly what we all wanted to see! Waite, did what we all thought he could - stepped up when both fisher and fev were off and combined well with fev.

Lappin, Stevens, Scotland, Murph all very impressive aswell.

3 - Waite
2 - Lappin
1 - Fevola

I thought Waite took the game on right from the start and looked the match winner.

Lappin was just sensational rebounding from defense and halting Melbournes attack - he deserves every penny he gets....

Fevola played the best game for the club in respect to the way he played for the team rather than the individual. His defensive pressure was awesome, his attitude was great and he just looked like a more mature player. I hope he stays this way as he is fantastic when in the zone - Go Fev.

Special Mention has to go to:

*Eddie Betts - proved he could be more than a forward pocket specialist. What anticipation and ability to read the ball off a pack and sensational defensive pressure.

* Kade Simpson - Looked confident and took em on with ball carrying runs through the lines, less I not mention the courage shown with some marks running back with the flight of the ball. A bonus this kid!

* Marc Murphy - Debut was Sensation. Gets the hardball, makes the right decisions and seems to be there when you need him. What more can you say apart from "I think we have a good one".

* Heath Scotland - Not flashy but got alot of the ball and disposed of it well most of the time. He really took the pressure off the Stevens and Kouta's in the midfield. Hopefully he is in for a good year.

* Livingston - Stopped his man and when he dispossed of the ball he looked alot more comfortable than usual, and disposal was good. We need him to stand up and he is off to a good start.
