Judd is carlton's to claim and rightly so. They are a great marriage.

While watching Mike S interview Judd my wife exclaimed, ' are all footballers like this".

I asked what she was inferring to.

She said; - He is so selfish, he only thinks of himself.

A very insightful observation on reflection.

His departure was a great step foward in building a new team.

You know, I have a theory on stuff like this.

I reckon that when a team gets a lot of early picks they stop realising how important they are.

Like with Kennedy, I don't think Carlton were totally set on developing him like we are.

I recall they used him in the ruck and kept him on the bench a lot. Which basically shot his confidence.

Can you imagine us using Kennedy anywhere expect up forward? He's no pinch hitter, he's a gun CHF.

One thing that stuck with me when we were trading Judd was one poster from Carlton saying about JK "Good players never drop chest marks, even when they're developing".

With that in mind it's no suprise we didn't hear much about Kennedy before he came here. He wasn't set to become much of a player.

Dude, as soon as Judd nominated Carlton I was BEGGING West Coast to get Kennedy.

We had been so desperate for a proper key forward forever so getting a big forward from WA was the logical choice.

Not only would Kennedy have to get past Lynch and Hansen but Mitch Brown as well. I don't see his prospects for playing CHF as being any better at the Eagles than at Carlton !
