Yep. SOS has obviously tried to build our depth without giving up too much.

Marchbank was the only player we used a decent draft pick on.

I am sure he will soon start to target better players in exchange for draft picks..but the media aren't interested in this or what we didn't give up for our players and what Collingwood did give up for theirs..

Blind Freddy could see sos was building depth. Media has really given me the shits this year as has the quality of the footy.

The problem is though, we have prob 8 of our starting 22 out of the side, but there is no mention of this, the continual "kick em while their down" agenda from the media has an effect on supporters who start to "give up" on our rebuild etc, i know we'll be back up there sooner than later but the way we are treated as a running joke, with no consideration of circumstances in the media is BS.

And we will be a good story when we get there. Otherwise we are not really worth talking about in a positive fashion. We have nice sub plots but we aren't a part of the narrative of the league.

great post, aph - curnow's easily but didn't like the shove on zac at the end of it - always good to see ex-players getting crunched ie gowers and especially grigg getting owned by little matty wright - cripps is just awesomely extra-terrestrial - sheed looked like he'd just been asked to dismantle subiaco townhall with his bare hands - special mention to o'shea - swan-like grace and commitment on the player - great to watch - would have struggled to get 5 like that across the last few years let alone half a season - trending nicely - hurt them - make them look like sheed looked after cripps destroyed his puny effort, his manhood, his future and the futures of his children and that of his children's children...........pretty sure........
