I can’t stand listening to that radio station any more since croc took over :poo:
100% Eskie.....it has totally turned to :poo:.....Gerald Wheately, KB and the Doc etc, absolute garbage....the only one I have time for is Andy Maher, and that's only because he goes in to bat for the Blues when we're copping shit from the football world.

Macquarie Sports a much better option these days.

Has anyone else noticed that the video posted yesterday re Bolton on CFC; Phase 2- Forming identity is now down?
I wonder why that is so?; assuming its not a technical issue merely on my end.
I wonder, likely stupidly, whether Bolton's pause during that video, and seeming stare which appeared to be directed in Simmo's direction is the reason?
I wonder whether it contradicted Murphy's media statement that Bolton has mellowed.
Nah Im over thinking things; surely.

Have to say I'm pretty impressed with the changes to the media department and presence of Carlton. It use to be ridiculous with videos being uploaded to the YouTube channel months after being released for example and weeks with nothing new.

Having good media keeps the club relevant and engaged. Much more fun for the fans :)

See the last paragraph?

Carlton are training on the Sunshine Coast this week and hope McGovern will be able to play JLT games leading into the season with their major injury concerns being Caleb Marchbank, who continues to battle a back injury, Lachie Plowman, who is joining in full training more regularly, and Tom Williamson who is being monitored regularly.

Does anyone actually know what is going on with Williamson????

Far Out, with the amount of talk regarding the Blues not scoring 100 points for... blah blah blah.

I expect it to be the biggest news that week when we do it. As if 100 is the bench mark of what a team needs to score.
The funny thing is though, we kicked 102 against the hawks in last years JLT. So their data is wrong and they're skewing it so that they can write these tabloid-esque opinion pieces for opposition supporters to froth over. Nothing new as the site has existed in this fashion for as long as I'm sure anyone can remember and their unprofessionalism is only further evidenced by their insistence on shoehorning idiotic puns into each and every headline. Not to mention consistently frequent factual and grammatical errors.

So you are saying a JLT match should be considered to be equal to a regular AFL match. Interesting.

RE jlt scores.

The hawks capped their rotations during that match to mirror the real season. We ran alot more players through that match. I wouldn't read into that scoreline that much...

(I agree the article standards are low though)

I don't think they should be considered equal, but I do think they should be considered. At least the article should specify they are referring only to regular season games and their day counting should reflect that. They have counted the day we kicked 102 as a day we still have not kicked 100.

I would have to disagree with you here. JLT / practice matches should not be considered imo.

Yeah I realise that the context of the game is completely different as teams treat it as a practice match, however they're still representing the club in some level of competition.
I don't agree with counting it as 1020 days when it's been less than 12 months, I think they're grasping at straws to reach that number. Especially considering that we would have played games on less than 100 of those days.
Perhaps I just don't think in the same manner as an AFL journalist, probably a good thing.

The "100 point" stat is as useless as general disposals or marks

Number of wins per team, while kicking under 100 points in 2018. In bold, teams that made the 8

Adelaide - 6
Brisbane - 2
Carlton - 2
Collingwood - 5
Essendon - 7
Fremantle - 4
GC - 3
Geelong - 7
GWS - 8
Hawthorn - 8
Melbourne - 1

North Melbourne - 7
Port Adelaide - 9
Richmond - 6
St Kilda - 1
Sydney - 9
West Coast - 8

Western Bulldogs - 4
