Only need to look at Norf coming apart to appreciate Bolts' contribution
Yep! Not sure which thread it was, but did mention a few weeks back that we shouldn't forget Bolton's contribution to where we are now.

He turned the players into students and changed the culture in one! The fact that this coaching group is able to quickly to implement what they have been wanting to implement and players absorbing the instruction and information like sponges is an attribute to Bolton.

He was the perfect coach at that time.

Just watched Voss speak to the media about sundays game, looks totally relaxed to the point where the person using the metal grinder 50ms away kept interrupting and he just had a little smile to himself. I could imagine some poor bugger being dispatched to silence it.
im sure mv has been in a few showdowns so nothing new for him just an opportunity to see who can perform. Composure, backing the process and your team mates.
Sunday to far away.

Vossy seems to be loving his job and why wouldn't you, going as well as he is.
I have huge respect for voss
Obviously he has matured amd over the crazy vossy stage
But wow
If I were a blues player I’d be like **** me
I need to listen to this guy
He’s done everything in footy
And wow it’s happening guys!

What’s working: The Blues are brutal in the midfield, an area that had been a weakness but is now their major weapon. The arrival of George Hewett and Adam Cerra, and continued improvement of Matthew Kennedy, have brought the best out of Patrick Cripps, who is again a force. Charlie Curnow is back to full fitness and looking every bit the footballer he promised to be before his knee injuries. Sam Docherty’s effort to not only return to the game but be a key player has been pivotal to the Blues’ rise. Adam Saad deserves to be in All-Australian considerations for his ability to shut down his opponent and rebound. Carlton have displayed newfound resilience and maturity to fend off late charges and hold on in several games
What’s not: They’re running out of room in the casualty ward at Princes Park. Eight members of the team from round one missed round 11. Six of them have significant injuries, including bookends Jacob Weitering and Harry McKay, and ruckman Marc Pittonet. Mitch McGovern and Caleb Marchbank still can’t get a run at it, leaving their key defensive stocks almost exhausted. Their second-half fadeouts have not cost them a game, though have eaten into their percentage. Team defence has improved but remains a work in progress. Jack Martin needs to get a wriggle on, having struggled for any continuity since early 2020.
