There's your answer right there. In reality, anything contagious like flu, COVID, gastro, etc and players should not be around the rest of the group until they are no longer contagious. It's not hard, but it's become (or at least had become, prior to COVID) more acceptable to just rock up to work when you've got a cold, without concern for those around you.
Is that going to be our future though? I still haven't seen anything to suggest that 7 or 14 day mandatory home isolation will ever be going away. Personally i'm far more anxious about being locked inside my house for that long than I am about catching the virus.
From a societal point of view, it just feels like such a compromised way of 'living with it' if you are forced into isolation even if you are vaccinated and asymptomatic.
