The Queen is the official head of Anglican churches, she has the vaccine and has encouraged others to do likewise.Im talking Christians, not Catholics?
Im assuming you understand the Pope is not recognised by a lot of Christian groups ie. Protestant’s
They can make the choice for themselves. We all can. They just might also need to find a job which supports those choices. They can make their own choice for themselves, they certainly wouldn't be considered a high risk group for either contracting or having a serious case of covid-19 given the elite physical condition AFL players are in and the bubble the AFL requires them to exist within when there is a risk of games not being played due to exposures forcing isolation.
There are quite a number of AFLW players "taking time away from football" this season too.
I'm sure the AFL is working to ensure a positive outcome in the media for the league.
Because vaccine hesitancy was strongest among leaders of newly arrived migrant communities in certain locations (e.g. Melbourne's northern suburbs) and local Imams can help stop the spread of misinformation. Then you don’t understand religion
Why do you think the government called on local religious leaders to support the vaccine for?

Then you don’t understand religion and maybe not even close either
I can’t explain religion to you in this thread. Understand the role of a pastor and you will get it. I think you been watching too many movies and don’t get what a pastor actually does
There is also the issue with flying and crossing state borders to consider. It's unlikely an unvaxxed player will be able to fulfil the travel requirements set by each state government, irrespective of any AFL mandate. This is unfortunate, and the last thing Carlton needs heading into 2022. If he is holding out thinking this will blow over and he will be allowed to play, he would be wrong. Many industries have now mandated vaccinations for their workers and AFL players are not on their own. Nobody should be telling him what to do with his own body but as long as understands the implications, he can do what he likes but there will be no future as an AFL player. It's a blow but at 30, he isn't in our next premiership tilt, if it ever happens. I wish him luck but ultimately regard him as a fool.
I might believe that if so many of these progressives weren't Dan Andrews bootlickers in Victoria.
They are angrier at a few anti-vaxxers than they are of a lying corrupt Premier whose actions lead to the death of hundreds of people.
That's a prime example of people dying needlessly on a large scale.
Pretty sure that footy jumpers, shorts and socks these days are woven from cloth made of two different types of fibre, in direct contravention of Leviticus. As for the religious angle, well that's a load of warlocks to paraphrase an old Benny Hill joke. Games are played on Saturdays which would mean technically Jewish people are excluded. Games are played on Sundays which technically means Christians are excluded. Let alone all major religions have endorsed the vaccine as far as I can tell.
It's a physical contact sport, which offends every single religion that preaches turning the other cheek and not hurting your neighbour.Pretty sure that footy jumpers, shorts and socks these days are woven from cloth made of two different types of fibre, in direct contravention of Leviticus.
Heathens!
These day's player's are stars the moment they get drafted so hard to narrow it downFooty on Nine have just described the player as a "Star" - rules out the Jones rumours then

I won’t question your understanding of this, particularly your point on how long one is contagious for, mainly because I just don’t know whether this is accurate or not.
My point however is that when 90-95% of the population looks like it will be vaccinated, I really can’t see how in a fully open setting that yhe 5% pose a greater threat than the 95%. Using your figures, in a population of 4 million, 200000 being contagious for 5 days simply is not as bad as 3.8 million being contagious for 2 days.
Unfortunately people will get sick, people will die from/with COVID. I do believe though that as a result of the current vax numbers and the greater understanding of how to deal with it in the hospital system, that they will be greatly reduced. For me, the effects of lockdowns, the division and the segregation of the community will become, perhaps might already be the greater problem.
Research in England and in The Netherlands has also shown that an un-vaccinated person is no greater threat than a vaccinated person in passing on the virus to other people. I’ve had my jabs so it makes absolutely no difference to me whether the person next to me has been vaxed or not.
Can I assume you don't believe the pill should be available for women? Or are they okay to wear the risk you don't think should exist?1 blood clot is 1 bloodclot too many
Same with Myocarditis
They should have done extensive testing instead of doing it on the run. Wouldn't surprise me if there are long term issues from the covid vaccines in later years.
How many of them also eat prawns, lobsters, crabs or other crustaceans...Pretty sure that footy jumpers, shorts and socks these days are woven from cloth made of two different types of fibre, in direct contravention of Leviticus.

I will be totally honest. I am still pro Vax and i hope as many people get it..but i got pretty sick after my 2nd dose which went away after a few days. As i type what hasn't gone away is tingling issues with my nerves in my left leg which wasn't happening previously.
I would say still get it as Covid will be passed around alot more when the borders open (especially in WA) but yeah i know someone who had temporary memory loss, another who now has pain in their neck and armpits and for me it's a jolting feeling in my left leg which happens with movement and even when I'm trying to sleep.
Sides don't happen to everyone, but clearly to some..even to those like me who are pro Vax and thought the protesters were idiots.
Would walk into your teams best 22 easily (and spread the virus).Footy on Nine have just described the player as a "Star" - rules out the Jones rumours then
On one hand all I hear from people like you is the vaccine isn't really important as you have "a 99% chance of being fine anyway!" and on the other I hear how Dan Andrews allowed people to die of this horrible virus.
So which one is it? If the vaccine isn't really needed and COVID isn't something to fear, you'd be saying there should never have been quarantines of any kind?
What I'm saying is, if you're anti vaccine mandates then you have to be anti hotel quarantine. Because if it's not serious enough to mandate everyone to be vaccinated then it's not serious enough for people to be in any sort of quarantine.People like me?
I was doubled vaxxed long before most of these heroes sh*t canning anyone who doesn't want to get the vaxx for whatever reasons were.
You'd make a wonderful dictator.
Send your Gestapo around spying on its citizens and beating and jailing them when they went against your will.
And you think you're the smart one.
