What time will this game be? I assume it would be our home game since Hawks had theres today.
Be interesting to see if Hads makes his Carlton debut and if Pfeiffer can maintain the run he created yesterday. I know it's only the Nab cup but I would love to smack the hawks and get some slight revenge for what they did to us in that flogging last year!
Will you be attending?

Nope, Club memberships don't apply for the NAB/Pre season comp ..

Anyhow I'd reckon we'll fix Tassie up by around 30 points :)

Will very much be there.
I think it is important to note that the result here is not the be all and end all. It's more about the development of our players, and learning the new game plan.

A wins good too but.;)

You're a font 8, thanks. No luck on the exposure front at Family Day I suppose? Oh well, you gave it a shot.

Quick quiz as well (all answers can be found in the above links):

a) What was it?
b) In which year?
c) Who kicked 7?
d) Who kicked 6, with an amazing 12 behinds?
e) How many goals did we kick in the last?

2. Name any 5 Carlton / Hawthorn cross-overs since 1975....

3. Name the 2 years in which Carlton and Hawthorn played off in the Grand Final.

And for a bonus point, Carlton topped the table in a year in which Hawthorn took the flag, but Carlton were not in the Grand Final. Which year was this?

a) 30.30.210
b) 1969
c) 'Percy' Jones
d) Alex Jesaulenko
e) ?

2. Daniel Harford, Glen Bowyer, Simon Beaumont, Brett Johnson, Kevin Heath

Bonus question: 1976. We won the first 7 games in a row, lost 5 in a row, won the next 9, drew Round 22 against the Bulldogs (I think the final score was 107 points each) & then lost 2nd semi & PF to Hawthorn & North Melbourne respectively.

I don't think there's such a thing as a home game in the NAB cup for 2 melb based clubs. What advantage would either side have at TD?

Want to see Buddy V Waite, really want to see "Buddy destorys waite" but who knows.
De-story him?

Is that when Buddy is soooo good Waite can't even talk about it afterwards?
Looking forward, we'll need to field either Croad/Brown on fevola, cant have Dawson on him.
Croad? Oh yes please..............was it 7 or 8 at the G? Dawson.......it could be more.

Brown or Gilham I would have thought, but hey......you know your team right.;)

We must have broken Ian Thorogood's heart with our inconsistency in those days.
