There should be more emphasis on running than playing tall. Any hope? I think Fevola will enjoy the freedom of the wide open spaces of the forward line, as well as Whitnall. Kouta and Campo to play well, but that won't be enough. Any hope?

PS. I'm steering a one man ship that is the Carlton forum! With ODNs absence, we need more than just one Blues supporter here. Some West Coast supporters visiitng would be nice.

can't see much hope. the wide open spaces of subi will test our legs and the eagles just can't afford to drop a game to a bottom team at home so they will be switched on. with so few interstate games on free to air under the new tv deal and the eagles missing out on the finals recently i've barely seen the new eagles and really don't know much about them. but they are much stronger in the midfield and quicker than us. what we'd give to have drafted judd and kerr in recent years ..... our side is not bad on paper but we stopped to a walk before 3/4 time last week. we have still persisted with a really tall side. it's good to give angwin game time but i can't see much point in using mckernan, french and allan together, got to have runners to rotate in the last quarter- even modestly talented runners. might have been a good chance to debut simpson given that we'll need pace. maybe packing the forward line with talls will work, but it went against us at the end of last weeks game, can't see why we won't be over run this week.

wonder what david haynes is like. he seems to be the the player west coast got when freeo ontraded the #16 draft choice we gave them for o'reilly -- god there's been some idiots doing the thinking down at carlton. however good haynes is i'm sure he won't give his club nothing and then cost them 6 draft choices as o'reilly has cost us
