I can not believe the low key that the supporters are taking. Can remember some of those earlier derby wins and the celebrations. Some of our first wins away and fans would flock to the airport. Now we are taking things in our stride. Tonight was great (its finals time) but its not celebration time.

I hope the dockers give it thier best this year and make it a finals campaign to remember I kinda brings me back to the day when the bears made thier finals debut. Everyone wrote them off we did get beat by the eventual premiers carlton by either 10 or 12 points in the first week of the 1995 finals but the following year we came back strong and hard only to get beat (again) by eventual premiers the kangaroos in the prem final.


It was very disappointing at the time, but as I remember back to then I think to myself it was worth it we were young and not quite ready for a premiership and like you guys we were 3rd (at the end of the 96 season).


My advice to you all as a fellow supporter for the afl is to enjoy this feeling and if you guys don't make it all the way at least be thankful that they made it to the finals. You never know what the future brings and from what I can see you guys are going to have a great few years ahead of you. GO THE DOCKERS!!!!!! GOODLUCK IN 2006

Freo has always been my second team, so i hope you go all the way. The supporters have got to be stoked with micheal Johnson and Dave Mundy this year as imho they are quickly turning into the leagues premier half back tandem. Both are just so cool in a crisis, natural athletes and Mundy's disposal out of defense is devastating. good luck freo i'll be barracking for you

Enjoy it Freo. I think you're probably in need of some finals experience before you are a genuine flag chance. Sydney's premiership 22 had 179 games of finals experience going into the Grand Final. In comparison the 22 that played last night for Freo had 54. Nevertheless, they are playing well and they've proven a lot of people wrong in recent weeks, including me.
