Interesting game, Caseys forward line was pretty much non existant - the flankers were being led to the ball regularly, made it pretty difficult for the mids.

However when the forwards were leading well the mids were butchering it.

Thought Blease was good in patches, took a couple hits and spent a fair amount of time off the ground.

Barry, Hogan and Taggert all showed a bit as well - Barry's a smooth mover, still a massive work in progress with his strength and fitness but I think he'll be a player.

Hope I am not intruding but I didn't get the watch the game today and you can't get any balanced conversation on Hawthorns board about Anderson (everyone thinks he's going to better than Ablett and Judd combined lol) so I thought I better ask on here about how Anderson did since it seems like you blokes watched the game?

I only watched a half because I had to go out.

He just seems to be really good at moving and manoeuvring through packs, like his opponents don't exist.

Yeah, good game - looks a very smart footballer, a bit wasteful by foot occasionally but he goes hard at the man and the contest.

Good overhead for his height, and his footskills are more 'inconsistent' then 'average'.. can kick the footy.

Was very good today, didn't dominate the game in a way that Ablett does but then who does apart from Ablett . had a solid game and kicked a few goals. Didn't belong at VFL level.
