Watching the last goal again, the efforts of Neale was super impressive. His last tackle, if missed, they were away on the outer side.

He also missed dees game with plantar fascia which doesn't go away in a hurry so won't be surprised it flared up last nightSomeone mentioned he had an injured leg so that could explain it.
He's still young and has time but he has been poor the past fortnight. Not sure dropping him back to the VFL will achieve anything. He's done the apprenticeship at that level. Just have to hope it all clicks shortly.
Very silly argument. This is essentially the equivalent of "People who disagree with my opinion are like crazy flat-Earthers."Theres always a few who question everything. I.e. flat earth. Doesnt mean its questionable.

Management is the key for him ..Needs a rest soon in all honesty not that he wasn’t good we just need to preserve him and the next 4 games are going to be a slog
Just need to build the wins to be able to do that for a few players later in the yearManagement is the key for him ..

That's how I saw it as well. If they still had the classification, IMO it would be reckless. You swing with full force at head level toward the head, then this kind of thing happens. There is a reason you get taught not to use knives or any other sharp object towards your own body, always away in case... Swing toward the head consciously has the possibility of hitting the head built in. Careless is hitting the shoulder and it sliding up.
Heard something that it’s a trade off for hawks members for access bc of the Tassie games they sell.. not sure how accurate it is but it was announced on fox or krock I thinkSurprised they turned up to an away game
Hawks supporters in their autopsy blaming the umps. Give me a spell!
No doubt we had the rub of it early on, but by Christ (respectfully) did they swing it the other way for the last three quarters.
Made the win all the more sweet though.
Yeah that bullshit "replacement home game" has been going on for years.Heard something that it’s a trade off for hawks members for access bc of the Tassie games they sell.. not sure how accurate it is but it was announced on fox or krock I think
It’s still a cats home game but there is an allocation to them for it…

Rivalry pressureWas quite enjoyable watching gunston shank a fair few
I was in the MCC as Smith came off. There was booing, and then the Cats fans rose to their feet.
I didn't see any "bird" at all. I saw a guy urging Geelong fans to stand up. A bit over the top, but where is this "bird" claim coming from?
Absolutely - two massive efforts from Neale set things up for that last shot. I really like how mobile the kid is for his size. Could be an absolute nightmare a few years down the line when he gets his marking sorted.Watching the last goal again, the efforts of Neale was super impressive. Looked like a lifting of all fingers in a "come on" gesture to me.Watch his right hand as he nears the boundary in running off after the incident.

Ollie Henry had a nothing game but his tackle at the death was importantBig effort to compete in the air too, not just to bring it to ground but also to get it to fall where he and our other forwards had the best chance to keep the ball locked in F50.
“From their perspective, they were trying to get it through the corridor to score as quickly as they could,” Neale told foxfooty.com.au in the Cats rooms post-game. “So I came forward to defend inside 50 there and as soon as I saw his (Weddle’s) eyes go to him (Battle), I thought: ‘I just have to put my head down and get there.’ It wasn’t until two-thirds of the way through that kick that I realised I was a good chance to get there.
“I got there in the end and just tried to follow up. I was able to cause a bit of a disrupted handball and obviously Shauny finished off the good work.
“I’m just glad I did my part for the team and contributed in some way.”
Asked if it was one of the more satisfying moments in his young AFL career so far, Neale said: “Yeah I think so. Any way I can contribute to a close win like that, I’ll definitely walk away with a smile on my face.
It’s funny they showed that on replay at the game a few times but nothing when miers got hit or the ducking frees Watson got.Cause he threw the ball at Impey's face![]()
Honestly Jezza for the last few weeks or so was running around up the ground barely having any impact yet there’s crickets for those games with his performanceOllie Henry had a nothing game but his tackle at the death was important
Not much difference to just king hitting someone in all honesty. Swinging round arm at force that knocked him out.How was that ‘not’ intentional?

Miers was handballing.
Nash went high, no where near the ball
EDIT:
Even Gary Lyon said his arm was no where near the ball
It’s like cam Guthrie was before he had his heart surgery.. Lethargic and uninspired… like he as the flu or something. He can be a bit all-or-nothing for sure.
I potted him a couple of weeks ago for making some questionable decisions.
But overall, net positive, as you say.
I'm hoping he'll settle into the team/season a bit more smoothly in the coming weeks.
