Usually the guineas is my favourite raceday for the spring. Caulfield Stakes is often just as strong a race as the Cox, and there's the Toorak and plenty of other great races to chew on too.

Scardee Cat is the one this year me thinks.

Always liked Scaredee Cat. Very underrated and looks bomb proof, providing there is a firmish track.

Will wait until over 1600 to back Ambulance.

I Like Keep The Faith. Disappointing on Saturday but I feel he didn't handle the straight. His first up run was excellent.

Danbird could be a bit of a roughie.

Yup backed Scardee Cat when it debut mid week a while ago now (last spring towards the end of the carnival i think) and it paid aroud $15 and Nikloic rode it i think. Very good horse who should have a good campaign

I agree. That's where my money will be heading I'd have to say. Of course things may change, but I like to back the roughies in spring time, and Danbird is just the type of horse I tend to back.
