He is not stronger. Maybe this comes down to who you have seen play more. Any chance someone could ask any regular full back who they would rather play on? If we were talking about recruiting one to your club you need to look at the whole package. Even though I rate Arentz as better, If we agree that they're pretty close as players, you cannot deny that Arentz wins in every other catagory.

So Yaaablett, if they are so close as players what are these other categories that get Arentz over the line? I'm sure everyone is interested! Considering this has been a huge talking point for the thread so far and we are now 3 weeks away from the opening game I feel this wonderful topic should be bought up again so we can monitor progress. Carroll has been pretty impressive during night series, not just kicking goals but his work rate and willingness to handball seem to have increased.

In this blog u say he is wasting his talent in the CMFL yet in your last blog 3/4/06 you say that round 1 the carroll of old will be back trying to snap goals and trying to impress the girls and tim styles. FROGDOG stop talking about people moving away to seek educations, obviously if you have moved away for this reason, you have a right to feel agreeved because the money you are spending on your fees does not seem to be paying off.. Got some late news my old mates, maurice day has done the shmidts at balranald over a pay dispute and them failing to honour him his match payments during the final series and is heading to nullawil Apparently trying to bring sean charles with him.. !!!!SERIOUS LATE NEWS!!!!

Toadmister, they are two of the biggest influences of results in the league and you want to leave it alone? Isn't this a thread where you talk about the goings on of Central Murray Football? I can assure you these two players will have a fair say in a few results this year so I think its an extremely valid topic unless of course you have two other superstars of the comp you would like to compare?

got a quick point.. Seems to be a bit of ********e flying at prymke.. I hardly know the man, have followed his career in past few years tho. At kerang, apparently won them the flag. Could be said under filo he produced when it was needed.. At Sea Lake. was a joke under ??????? the side, in general was poor i think, Now at woora.. IT will be interesting to see what happens under kerr. I believe it is the clubs stupidity that everyone shuould be sending a little abuse towards. not just captain shnoz. You recruit someone who is liable to do that. you suffer the consequences.. still does not excuse his very poor efforts.

Do you think that the goldern rivers should have to implement a point sytem to stop them steeling mid ranged player from the cmfl who wish to go to another club.... e.g. Jo blow a local player from tyntynder, boarder line senior player.. wants to leave to get good run in the seniors,, other close clubs (Swan Hill Woora) dont wish to spend 5 points on him so he may opt to go to ultima or murrabit-Nulli or so on.. any thoughts

Firstly i declare that I am a GRFL supperter, so my view is bias. I cant see a problem with a fringe player wanting to play more senior footy, and if the only place that he can do that is at a GRFL club then so be it. I will be honest and say that there is a far better chace for someone to play regular senior footy in the GRFL than in the CMFL, so why shouldnt he go. Secondly I dont think that a points system will work in the GRFL because we lack player numbers, simple as that. If you think that it is hard to keep the kids here in Swan Hill, try keeping them in Macorna, which doesnt have a town anymore, or Nully or Ultima or Murrabit with a population of 300. However I do agree that the GRFL needs some type of system in place, currently it has no points system nor a salery cap.

Apparantly Woorinen have recuited an overgrown Chicken to play CHB. Under the points system it is worth 5 points, but his beak is worth another 5 because of its size, therefore he is a 10 point player. The footy club apparantly are selling advertising space on his beak to offset his match payments. Any interested businesses please phone 1800-BIGSNOZ.

Knowing who you are Nifty makes me wonder why you have to get onto big footy to have a go at Prymke you tall streak of duck s**t. people wouldn't bother worry about the points system with you!!! Poor Form Nifty man
