I'm just trying to imagine how bad you'd need to be to get fired from commentating on footy in today's landscape. Couldn't be possible I wouldn't think. It's not like they have anything close to standards.

I thought Korn wasn't too bad. Making the same mistake that Daisy Pearce used to make by being too verbose. Say what you need to with fewer words Korn and you'll do OK because the content was on the money. Just took too long to finish the contribution each time.

He's still listed as on the team but he only comes on rarely. I saw him once or twice last year.
He's on abc radio a lot where he can't scare the kids with his beetroot head.

I know we are not allowed to praise these two - but JB & BT together on 7 for the first time this year was light years above in terms of chemistry than any other call team pairing they have had this year.

I understand why 7 Management are bringing them together for big games only as I enjoyed them together on TV for the time in a long time

McLachlan and Riewoldt post-game is actually excruciating to watch. Riewoldt walking around and McLachlan's terrible jokes. As much as i hated McLachlan he actually seemed ok at his job before his sabbatical. Maybe Darcy and Richo made him look good. Makes me think he was being fed lines and something's changed in production.
