Now i'm not saying Gibson and Delidio are the same player and i know they're going to play completly diffrent posistions but interestingly they are good at the same things.

Are there any Norwood fans who can tell me more about Gibson, i remember just after the draft alot of talk about him being like Jonathon Brown but after i went to the Norwood/North trial i was quite dissapointed, he crashed through a few packs but apart from that he didn't show alot. Anyone else seen alot of him?

True.. maybe we were looking for big strong bodies.. Pearce was everywhere in the draft camp. Gibson should be good but remember guys we cant expect anything yet.. Hes a KPP and it takes at least 3 years for his body to fully mature

Probably the same reason that every other club ignored him.

Gibson has obviously got a solid body & the althetism. Only very early days yet, so let's see how he goes for Norwood this year before properly assessing his game.

We ignored him because we need some solidly built, tough midfielders to help out and indeed replace Roo. Hinge is a good step in that direction. We have too many lightly built blokes on our list as it is.

I can live with the fact that we ignored Pearce, provided we continue to beef up our midfield.

Excellent athetlic ability does not equal excellent footballer.

The reason Pearce was overlooked was because he had a disastrous U18 champs. Pearce does look like a reasonable footballer tho from what ive seen at training and the internal trial, but from the Crows needs I agree with a few others that he isnt the type of player you needed. I think it was a great move to draft some big bodied mean looking KPP and Rucks

His body is fully matured but he is raw in footy terms. If it was purely on his built he would be one of our most solid KPP in the team.

He is aggressive and thats why he got compared to J. Brown. He is as aggressive as him but I don't think he is as good a footballer or ever will be. I hope like hell he can play because, a kids of his build and aggression are hard to find. Lets hope he develops into a very good KPP preferably forward.
