Toast Chad ****ing Wingard

Wanganeen left Essendon after his 6th season.

Notice a pattern?
Unless Wingard has unrivalled passion to return and play for Sturt again, we won't have an issue.

So If 2014 for Port is the new 1993 for Essendon

Chad wins the brownlow. Port win the flag
Chad leaves to captain essendon at the end of 2017
and Jay Nash Jr is drafted to Port at the end of 2024 plays 43 shit games and is traded to Essendon at the end of 2030 and is delisted the very next year.
And in 2034 we are in huge trouble for running a systematic doping regime.

The upside is that 2021 is going to be a really fun year to watch football.

What year does Kern moves to the NT to kick start tart the Greater Northern Buffalos?

Saw a stat that Chad had 30.4% of his kicks inside 50 result in a mark inside 50 - the highest % for the top 50 inside 50 players.
I could only work out 50% of that.

I was just watching the last quarter of the Collingwood final. Can't believe how good this kid is at 20 years of age. He's our most skillful player and is already converting plenty of those skills into results. Unbelievable how good he may become. Like a young Wangas.

And I reckon he played injured.

And I reckon he played injured.

I was chatting with someone who turned out to be a good friend of his mum back in Murray Bridge after the EF. She said he was carrying a hamstring injury (iirc) for the bulk of the season, as well as 4 or so other niggles that gave him a bit of trouble over the year. And apparently he was pencilled in for a rest or 2 later in he year for that reason, but that didn't happen. Just before the security guards asked us to leave after the EF because we were hanging around too long, the team came back onto the oval to stretch, and he was away from the main group doing his own routine. Mainly nursing his hammies iirc. If he was AA while injured, imagine him if he was 100% fit!

We seem to have a very likable team. Our premiership team had a lot of egos. But this current group is a great bunch. Led by a very likable captain.

Surely this must attract a few supporters

i don't want to be

the sooner we go from

"cute little success story"
to

"those port w***ers, why do the always beat us! they're so smug!"

the better

I just found this and i hadn't seen it before so for those who have not seen it

shows how hard Wingard trains. Its a good insight to how intense some training sessions are.

Whose idea was it to ruin that video with obnoxious music?

Too may people have great videos then put crap music thinking they are some sort of great film producer/director.

Having done some very similar drills at local footy level, I can attest to how freakin hard doing that is over an extended period of time. Good on ya Chad ;)
