Smothers count as bad disposals I'm fairly sure? Fyfe does seem to get guys flying over his boot fairly often, he is tall and the ball drops a fair distance more than others. Something he needs to improve.
Also Fyfe hasn't had a fit Barlow (someone who runs all day) to be able to deliver to which has a massive impact on efficiency, takes two to tango when it comes to kicking. So his actual kicking numbers are not too bad, but he still has to work on not getting smothered as much and to have a little bit more composure by knowing his team mates will be where they should be.
Outs: Mayne (calf), Broughton (back)
Ins: Clarke, Suban, Crichton, Faulks, Van Berlo
Most likely Clarke and Suban/Crichton?
His efficiency stats are down because one particular team mate wasn't out there? Um, what about the other 17 blokes on the field with him?
They are mostly rubbish at finding space and helping out their team mates by giving them options? When we do have free men is usually when there are turnovers. When there are stoppages it is rare for us to have free men to kick to, we just kick to contests most of the time. This is a by product of not playing man on man of course so Ross has developed a gameplan that work around the current players deficiencies at finding space.
When your midfielders are kicking to contests all the time it is going to decrease disposal efficiency. Barlow is someone that is usually in space, a rarity for Freo, so yes that one player does help tremendously in that regard. We need more though.
@AFL_PKeane: Frem v GWS; Faulks, van Berlo, Suban, Clarke, Crichton for Broughton, Mayne.
There goes Broughton... That will cause headaches for SC.
JVB a strange inclusion.
